About me ◆
Hi, I'm Stefan Devai
I'm a Mexican-Brazilian Software Engineer working at Clue Insights and a History student at the Sorbonne University in Paris. This blog is mostly about History, politics, random coding experiments, and other subjects that I find interesting.
I have an obsession with understanding the patterns and dynamics that shape society from a Marxist perspective. Authors like Domenico Losurdo, E. P. Thompson, Antonio Gramsci, Ruy Mauro Marini, and Fernand Braudel have shaped my current perception of the world.
Regarding programming, I'm a big fan of the Unix philosophy, C, LISP, Neovim, and Svelte. Overall, I have an inclination towards minimalist and performant software.
